Everything You Need to Know Before Your Tanzania Safari

The best time for safari in Tanzania is during the dry season from June to October when wildlife viewing is optimal. The Great Migration peaks between July and September. January to February also offers excellent game viewing with calving season in the Serengeti.
Tanzania's must-visit parks include Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, and Mount Kilimanjaro. Each offers unique landscapes and wildlife experiences.
We recommend a minimum of 5-7 days for a comprehensive safari experience. This allows you to visit 2-3 parks and enjoy game drives without feeling rushed.

Planning to Climb Kilimanjaro? Start Here

The best times are January-March and June-October, which offer the most favorable weather conditions with clearer skies and minimal rainfall.
Kilimanjaro is a challenging but achievable trek. No technical climbing experience is required, but good physical fitness and mental preparation are essential for success.
Most routes take 5-9 days. We recommend longer itineraries (7-8 days) for better acclimatization and higher summit success rates.
The Machame and Lemosho routes are the most popular, offering scenic variety and good acclimatization profiles. Marangu is the only route with hut accommodations.
No prior climbing experience is needed. However, we recommend regular cardio and strength training in the months leading up to your climb.
