After breakfast, you will depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day safari experience. Tarangire is famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and beautiful natural landscapes. The park covers an area of 2,850 square kilometers and is named after the Tarangire River which sustains wildlife during the dry season. Upon arrival, you will begin an exciting game drive while exploring different parts of the park in search of wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and many bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to relax and enjoy the surrounding wilderness. The game drive continues into the late afternoon to maximize wildlife viewing before you are transferred to your accommodation in the evening.
After breakfast, you will travel towards the southern part of Serengeti and the Ndutu area, a beautiful region well known for its rich wildlife and seasonal migration activity. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic landscapes and opportunities to spot animals during the drive. The journey takes you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with stunning views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After arriving in Ndutu, you will begin a game drive through the open plains and woodlands where lions, cheetahs, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, and large groups of wildebeests can often be seen. A picnic lunch will be served during the safari as you continue exploring this remarkable area. The game drive will continue until evening before you are transferred to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Today you will enjoy a full-day safari in the Ndutu region, one of the best wildlife areas in Northern Tanzania. After breakfast, you will head out for an extended game drive across the plains, lakes, and acacia woodlands. Ndutu offers excellent opportunities to see predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas following the large herds of wildebeests and zebras. Depending on the season, you may also witness the famous calving period of the Great Migration when over 8,000 wildebeest calves are born daily. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a scenic location inside the wilderness before continuing the afternoon game drive. You will spend enough time exploring different wildlife areas before returning to your accommodation in the evening.
After breakfast, you will depart from Ndutu and continue with a safari drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you will still have opportunities to spot wildlife across the plains and beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival at the Ngorongoro Crater, you will descend into the crater floor for a rewarding game drive in one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife destinations. The crater is home to elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, flamingos, and many other animals living together in a natural enclosed ecosystem. A picnic lunch will be served near the crater floor while enjoying the spectacular surroundings. The game drive continues until late afternoon before transferring to your accommodation for relaxation and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for another exciting safari experience. This beautiful park is known for its green scenery, groundwater forest, diverse birdlife, and wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, baboons, and tree-climbing lions. The park covers 330 square kilometers, of which two-thirds is occupied by the alkaline Lake Manyara, which attracts flocks of flamingos and over 400 bird species. You will enjoy a game drive through different habitats of the park while exploring the lake area and surrounding wilderness. A picnic lunch will be served during the safari as you continue enjoying wildlife viewing throughout the afternoon. Later in the evening, after maximizing your game drive experience, you will depart the park and drive back to Arusha for overnight stay and relaxation.
After breakfast, you will travel to Materuni Village, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro at approximately 1,500 meters elevation. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided walk through beautiful green landscapes and local coffee farms before reaching the impressive Materuni Waterfalls, which drop 80 meters into a natural pool. You will have time to relax, enjoy the fresh air, and experience the peaceful natural surroundings. During the visit, you will also learn about local coffee preparation and enjoy a freshly prepared cup of organic coffee from the village. The Materuni area is home to the Chagga people, one of Tanzania's most industrious ethnic groups, known for their coffee farming and intricate irrigation systems. After the excursion, you will return to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure, carrying unforgettable memories of your Tanzania safari adventure and cultural experience.
