Most safari companies accept children from age 6-8. Some luxury lodges have minimum age requirements. Young children may not appreciate early morning game drives. Consider your children's attention spans and energy levels.

Ngorongoro Crater is excellent for families – short drives, diverse wildlife, and stunning scenery. Tarangire offers less driving and excellent elephant sightings. Lake Manyara is compact and varied.
Accommodation
